What we do

Accelerate is a free employment support service that can build your confidence, give you training, improve your skills and provide valuable work experience – all geared towards helping you find a job that suits you.

We specialise in supporting people who would like to work but for various reasons find it hard to get a job and enjoy all the benefits that employment brings. We offer practical help to deal with problems that have been holding you back

Accelerate is a Building Better Opportunities Project funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery, through the Big Lottery Fund." Managed by Coventry & Warwickshire CDA and delivered by a partnership of local organisations.

Finance, benefit and debt

Overview

What we do

We help people, particularly those facing social or financial exclusion, to learn to manage their finances.

Our budgeting advisers assist clients with:

  • Money advice
  • Easier access to basic bank accounts
  • Bill budgeting services
  • Access to credit union services
  • Access to reasonably priced credit

We offer financial capability training to groups or individuals assisting them to manage their money. We also train advisers and front-line staff that come into contact with adults who would benefit from money management skills e.g. children’s centre workers, teachers, tenancy support officers, council staff, and benefit advisers.
