Organisation: Bridging the Gap Project
Bridging the Gap Project
Based in a charity shop on Stafford St Willenhall, we offer support and friendship to all who visit us. We provide assistance with claiming benefits, completing forms, making telephone calls, job applications, bereavement & emotional support, budgeting advice, emergency foodbank outlet, and a listening ear. Run by Churches Together in Willenhall and staffed mostly by volunteers.

Overview
Bridging the Gap has been offering free support, direction and guidance to the people of our town, Willenhall, for the past sixteen years. We occupy a three storey, shop-fronted building in the Town Centre
What we do
If you come to us as a client, we will give you useful information and help you to secure any benefit to which you may be entitled. We can help you fill in the forms, some of which are quite difficult.
If you have problems with paying your bills or are worried about rising debts, we can help here too. We can point you to a partner organisation that gives a free confidential service to help you gain control over your situation, help you prioritise your repayments and negotiate with creditors on your behalf.
All these services are free of charge and available to all, regardless of status. We have strict policies in place to protect our clients and we work to a code of confidentiality.
