Overview

The UK’s largest Law Centre, we are a legal advice agency employing 52 staff, 11 of whom are solicitors. We have offices in Coventry and Birmingham. Our services are free.
We work to Specialist Quality Mark Standard in nine areas of social welfare law:

Discrimination
Debt
Employment
Family
Health and Community Care
Housing
Immigration & Asylum
Public Law
Welfare Benefits

What we do

We assist nearly 6,000 people each year and offer casework and representation in courts and tribunals. We use the law to tackle poverty, disadvantage, discrimination and exclusion. We work with clients with multiple and complex needs and the breadth of areas of law that we cover enables us to tackle the interconnected problems that they are likely to have.

IGNITE will offer expert advice and support for problems like debt, benefits and housing together with practical hands-on coaching and connecting. This blend of help will see clients become more active in their lives and better able to plan for their future. The project aims to tap into people's strengths and the strengths in communities so that they can move forward, build aspiration and be ready to embrace the opportunities available
