Domestic Abuse
Fry Housing - Brighter Futures
Brighter futures is a free voluntary programme for individuals who have committed or are at risk of committing behaviours defined as domestic violence and abuse.
Brighter Futures helps people who have been abusive in the home. We offer either weekly group sessions or one-to-one sessions in a relaxed environment that will help you to reduce risk to you and your family.
The programme consists of 10 x 1.5 hour sessions conducted on a weekly basis and includes solution-focused brief therapy, with cognitive-behavioural therapy techniques.
This approach is evidence-based and uses an intervention that has been shown to increase customer engagement, reduce risk and help individuals stop being violent and abusive.
