Cruse Bereavement Support is the leading bereavement charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our vision is that we live in a world where everyone grieving is supported, respected and understood. We help people through one of the most painful times in life – with bereavement support, information and campaigning. Bereaved people can access our freephone national helpline, online webchat, website and local services.
The Cruse Birmingham branch staffs a 7 day a week local helpline for bereavement residents in Birmingham and Solihull. This Single Point of Access helpline works with additional partners ( Solihull Bereavement Counselling Service, Marie Curie Hospice West Midlands, Edwards Trust and Beyond the Horizon) to provide bereavement services for all ages.

What we do
- 7 day a week staffed bereavement helpline providing a compassionate listening ear for bereaved people. - Ongoing bereavement support sessions- via phone and zoom. We will be cautiously re-introducing face to face support in various venues as 2022 progresses - Information, advice and guidance for professionals - Bereavement Awareness Training for individuals and groups - Volunteering opportunities- for clinical bereavement volunteers, supervisors, fundraisers and administrative support.Where we do it
