Overview

We have a range of services to support you, whether you need help leaving an abusive home or rebuilding your life after domestic abuse.

We provide emergency short-term accommodation for women and men, with or without children, who are escaping abuse. We also offer extensive community-based support as you're settling into your new home.

What we do

A refuge is a safe house for people escaping domestic abuse. It’s a place where you can be sure you’re safe, and where you can access emotional and practical support from compassionate and experienced staff who understand what you’ve been through. We have refuges for both men and women. Our refuge and community support teams can help you with: - accessing health services - budgeting and applying for benefits - finding nurseries and schools - getting legal advice, as well as accompanying you to appointments and court - securing a new long-term home - training, education and employment
