Kairos WWT
Kairos exists to increase the life-chances, choices and wellbeing of women caught up in prostitution as well as of women affected by or at risk of sexual exploitation in Coventry.
We support and collaborate with women, focusing on safety, stability and self belief. Services include:
Street Outreach and Evening Drop In (Hillfields, Wednesday and Fridays, 8-10pm)
Prison Inreach (visits to HMP Peterborough and post-release support with housing and other needs)
Floating Support: Project workers support you with areas where you want to develop or see change: drug/alcohol use, accommodation, family issues, healthcare etc. We work with you to access other services, providing a non-judgemental, flexible service.
Feeling Safe: supporting young women aged 18-24 with 1-2-1 and group work on how to stay safe. We cover areas like healthy relationships and online safety.

Kairos Women Working Together (WWT) believes in the value and dignity of all women and aim to increase the life-chances, choices and wellbeing of women caught up in prostitution, affected by or at risk of sexual exploitation in Coventry To support and collaborate with women, focusing on three areas: Safety: minimizing harm for those most at risk Stability: addressing individual needs and barriers (such as housing, healthcare, substance misuse interventions) Self-belief: supporting women to develop skills and the confidence to make their own choices for the future
What we do
Street Outreach and Evening Drop In Service
Weds & Fri 8.00-10.00pm, St Mary & St Benedict’s Church, Raglan St
We offer a Drop In service twice a week to women working on the street. Snacks, hot drinks, Needle Exchange, condoms and donations of food and clothing can be accessed during this service.
Floating Support Service
Available Monday-Friday 9.00am- 5.00pm by arrangement
Our Floating Support service offers flexible support to facilitate personal development. We do this by: Developing an individual support plan with you Helping you get to appointments where you require support (including dentist and doctor appointments, the Job Centre, Housing providers, court appearances, treatment services etc). Floating Support and ongoing mentoring can help you take positive steps forward in your life. We won’t tell you what to do, but we will support you to make decisions for yourself.
Prison Inreach
Kairos WWT work in Coventry with women who are at risk of, caught up in or aspiring to exit the world of sex work. We offer the following support at HMP Peterborough: Monthly one to one meetings in the Female Link Advocacy to help you resolve issues on the outside world (including contact with housing providers, solicitors, Social Care etc) a penpal service and Release Day support – meeting you after release, and offering practical support (taking you to critical appointments and to your accommodation) Links in with our other Kairos service upon release including Floating Support.
Feeling Safe (18-24yrs)
The Feeling Safe Project is for females aged 18-24 who want to gain knowledge, skills and confidence in feeling safe. We support young women to recognise sexual exploitation, identify risks and seek help when needed.
Within our Feeling Safe Project, we offer:
Workshops and Peer Support - raising awareness of sexual exploitation and how to stay safe
1-1 support - sessions on Protective Behaviours (e.g. online safety, grooming, healthy relationships) as well as support to access other services such as health appointments, housing, benefits, and work on developing personal goals
