Street League uses the power of sport to tackle poverty and give young people the opportunities they need to succeed in life and the workplace. We support young people aged 16-29, living in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities and may be economically inactive. Our friendly teams help Young People overcome their practical and personal barriers to employment or further education. Where traditional schooling and exams are the most common way to begin a career, they are not the only route. We know that Young People’s futures can be made outside the classroom. . Young People are given the opportunity to engage in sport but also the chance to gain a qualification and upskill their English and maths if they want to. We focus on giving young people the chance to develop in a proactive environment without the pressure of traditional teaching methods
