Open Hands Coventry is a charity providing a residential recovery service for men who are chronic alcoholics. Many of our clients have other issues: drug abuse, mental and physical ill health. Open Hands Coventry has provided this recovery service for the last eleven years. Many of our clients are ex-offenders.
Since December 2009, Open Hands has facilitated 377 community based alcohol detoxes at our main accommodation in Stoney Road, Coventry. We provide this as a free service to people on certain benefits.
We currently have 19 people in 1st stage recovery and approx' 40 people living in our managed, move-on accommodation.
