Organisation: The Bridge
The Bridge
The Bridge offers supported housing and a full-time recovery programme for men and women who want to overcome their drug or alcohol addiction. We run three six-bedroom houses in South Birmingham for 12 men and six women. Our houses are homes not hostels - a place to live that feels safe and comfortable. Our support team are straight-talking, friendly and supportive.
We run a medium-term recovery programme for between 6 months and 2 years. As part of the recovery programme we provide:
*Daily drug and alcohol testing clinics
*Recovery groups (Monday - Wednesday mornings)
*One-to-one keyworking
*Support to access voluntary work and training (Thursday - Friday)
*24-hour emergency on-call service
Staff are on site Monday - Friday from 08:00 - 16:00 and at weekend testing clinics. Evenings and weekends are otherwise completely free.
The Bridge encourages people to grow in their independence and connectedness with their local community. All we ask is that residents on the programme remain abstinent from drugs and alcohol, comply with their tenancy agreement and engage with the recovery programme.
