Organisation: William Booth Centre
William Booth Centre
William Booth Centre is a 74 bed direct access Lifehouse in Birmingham City Centre for people who are homeless. We provide accommodation and support for men and women aged 21 and over for up to 3 months. Each of our residents is allocated a Support Worker who will work with that person to help them access the right services for their needs and to equip them with the life skills to be able to live independently.
We provide 2 cooked meals per day, or residents in receipt of benefits can choose to go into one of our self- catering flats. We are staffed to provide support 24/7 and we can take referrals in person or over the phone. Following an assessment, we can move people into the service on the same day.
After 3 months, we refer our residents to 2nd stage accommodation, to a shared house or to a private rented property, depending on their needs.
